The House committee wants to know who bought Hunter Biden’s art, but the dealer won’t

The art dealer who handles Hunter Biden’s works isn’t playing ball with Republicans over who buys the artwork of America’s first son, who is already embroiled in several legal troubles in the county.

The New York Post has learned that the situation is currently connected to a congressional committee investigating the many controversial business dealings of the Biden family, and therefore Hunter Biden, who has no formal education, training or history as an artist of any kind. , are within their range.

Congressman James Comer, now the new chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, received a letter from an attorney representing Georges Burgess, who currently sells Biden’s work. In the letter, his attorney said the dealer had “concerns” about disclosing the names of those who bought Hunter’s artwork.

Basically, Diller is concerned that while he could face heavy legal penalties for not complying with a congressional subpoena, the lawyer also said that complying would violate several rules that were set directly by the Biden White House to seal information related to him. The sale of Hunter’s artwork, however, makes this situation even more dubious.

Hunter’s artwork looks ‘fishy’

In the attorney’s letter, he cited a press briefing in which former press secretary Jane Psaki covered Biden’s involvement with son Hunter’s artwork.

“Providing the documents and information requested in your letter would apparently defeat your efforts to avoid “serious ethical concerns” for Mr. Biden and the White House,” said attorney William Pittard.

“Protective measures” established by the White House, as mentioned by Psaki, currently keep the names of the buyers confidential, “because if the White House was not aware of those buyers, it would seem impossible for the administration to give the buyers any benefits. On the purchase,” said Pittard.

“In light of these considerations, providing the documents and information requested in your letter would seemingly defeat Mr. Biden’s and the White House’s efforts to avoid the ‘serious ethical concerns’ you raise,” he continued. “Mr. Burgess hopes that you and Mr. Biden can resolve that tension.”

Let’s not forget about the laptop

Hunter’s art passion hasn’t distracted GOP lawmakers from focusing on his infamous laptop.

Today in D.C. before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, lawmakers have already dove into Biden and his family to testify that they worked with Twitter to silence online conversations and news about Hunter’s laptop. Now that they have laptops, only time will tell what other discoveries will be made.

“We’re going to start with the hard drive because there’s a lot of evidence on the hard drive that suggests Joe Biden knew very well what his family was involved in,” Rep. Comer said. “We want to make sure that our national security is not compromised because China is now an adversary.”

Hunter Biden’s problems don’t seem to be going away. His lawyers are currently calling for a criminal investigation against Fox News host Tucker Carlson who first broke the major story about the scandalous and controversial material found inside the laptop.

According to The Political Insider, his attorneys are “requesting an investigation into allies of former President Donald Trump who they say smuggled information stolen from his laptop.”

Ironically, their pleas are a far cry from several years ago when Biden and his team said the laptop controversy was “Russian meddling.”
