Senator Graham is a known war-hawk. There is no war he does not like. He has a hand in escalating the US war with Russia in Ukraine. He is happy to send tanks to Ukraine even though the Ukrainians have no training on how to use them.
Graham was John McCain’s partner and so it’s no surprise that he thinks this way.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, RS.C., the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, faced pressure from conservatives to slow down when considering President Joe Biden’s judicial nominees.
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., a member of the Judiciary Committee, told The Hill that Republican “leadership ruined a 50-50 Senate” before last year’s midterm elections.
“They can make a big push, at the committee level, to vote together and at least stop the circuit court nominees,” Hawley said. “Each of them will need a discharge petition. We didn’t.
