Thousands of users report that they are unable to tweet immediately after Twitter

Thousands of users have reported that Twitter is currently not working for them.

Many users found themselves unable to retweet or send tweets.

One of those users was conservative journalist Jack Posobik who wrote in Telegram that “Twitter won’t let me tweet or retweet.”

Other users simply say “Sorry! You’ve exceeded your tweet limit.”

More than 8,000 users, per Down Detector, reported that Twitter was down for them at around 4:49pm, shortly after the House Oversight Committee concluded its hearing.

Digital Trends data will report “52% of users report problems with the Twitter app, 35% of users indicate website problems, and another 13% cite server connection problems.”

The strange incident happened hours after the lights mysteriously went off during a House Oversight Committee hearing.
