Conradson: You are a featured speaker at an upcoming event at the ASU Gammage Theater. Health, Wealth and Happiness, can you tell us about that event, what you’re going to be talking about and why everyone at ASU and Arizona should attend that event?

Kiyosaki: At Gamage health, wealth and happiness are about things we don’t cover in school. Health with this epidemic. I had covid, and I recovered with hydroxychloroquine. The man who healed me is the man who speaks on health, Dr. Radha Gopalan, and he is a doctor of acupuncture, but he is also a leading heart transplant surgeon in Banner. So he talks about health from East-West perspective. And happiness, that Dennis Prager. Dennis Prager has helped me a lot personally because he always talks about how we have a moral responsibility to be happy, and many people today are not happy. Here I am, with more money than I can use but still not happy. So I started listening to Dennis Prager on happiness. So that’s how it started, health, wealth and happiness, and now we’re protesting. Of all places, the university system should be a place of open ideas. But unfortunately, it has come to a place where there are only closed concepts. Only what the academics say is worth understanding. Health, wealth and happiness are priceless to me.

Conradson: You told me you fought the Viet Cong as a Marine in the Vietnam War. When you got home, obviously, you didn’t expect to be spat on and protested. Did you expect it to ever get worse and continue where they are trying to shut you down to talk about health, wealth and happiness?

Kiyosaki: When we got off the plane at Northern Air Force Base in California, our commanding officer got up there and said, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, you’re going to get spat on, egged on and all that. Remember this, we fought for their freedom to protest.’ And it was, you know, as a Marine, we follow orders. And protesting was not part of our agenda as US Marines. But, we fought for their right to protest. I got spit on, hit with an egg, called baby killer and all these things. And my only job was to fight for America’s freedom. I did not fight for Republicans or Democrats, liberals and conservatives. I fought for freedom of speech. And there were those hippies in the 70s, the Woodstock Generation, they were just exercising their freedom, but we fought for it! So, I couldn’t really complain. You know, I make it as a joke, to this day, when I talk to more conservative groups, I say, When I looked at this crowd of hippies and woodstokers, yelling at us and spitting and egging us on, I swore I saw Nancy Pelosi there. I fear those hippies have become our leaders today.

Conradson: I noticed you have this Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx next to you. What, how does this relate to what’s going on at ASU and universities across the country?

Kiyosaki: In 1965, when I left Hilo, Hawaii, and went to school at the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, my economics teacher said we should all read this book, The Communist Manifesto. It was written in 1848. It’s only like 50 pages. And when I read this book, I realized that most of the teachers are Marxists, they don’t mean bad. People. But their value system is very Marxist. Join labor unions, unite young workers of the world. Marx also predicted, in 1848, that communism would take over America in two stages. The first phase came in the 1930s, when the Berlin School sent teachers to Columbia University’s Teachers College; They teach communism. The second phase came in 2020 when my friend Donald Trump, we wrote two books together, was taken down by the socialist media. So I recommend that every teacher and every student should read this book to determine whether you are a Marxist or a capitalist. I am a capitalist. You know, you want to be a Marxist? Knock yourself out to have a better life. Written in 1848, this book should be read by every teacher, every student. And you will understand whether you are a Marxist or a capitalist.

What’s wrong with listening to people with different opinions? Of all places, the university system, because students are older, should be open to hearing more, even opposing ideas, and then you can decide. So I think what these teachers are doing is childish.
