Democrat talk about John Fetterman’s hospitalization for depression came out clearly.
The spin being put on the situation is that Fetterman is ‘brave’ for admitting his problem and seeking help by checking himself into a hospital for it.
If Fetterman is a Republican, do any Democrats and the media believe this? no They will demand his resignation for not being able to work.
From Fox News:
Biden praised Fetterman’s ‘courageous and important’ example in getting medical care; A hospital stay can last weeks
President Biden issued an endorsement Friday after Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., checked himself into a Washington, D.C., hospital this week for treatment for clinical depression.
“John, Gisele – Jill and I are thinking of your family today,” Biden wrote in a tweet. “Millions of people struggle with depression every day, often privately. Taking the care you need is brave and important.”
“We are grateful to you for leading by example,” the president added.
Reports later Friday indicated that Fetterman may remain in the hospital for several weeks for treatment.
Biden used the word ‘courageous’ in his tweet.

The word ‘brave’ appears everywhere.
“It’s true: telling your story is brave. Asking for help is brave,” wrote @lauraftrujillo. https://t.co/6FdVsucDVk

I think we can all agree, regardless of political affiliation, that this is a bold move to break the stigma.
So many can breathe a little easier knowing they are not alone.
Praying for the Fetterman family. 🙏🏻 https://t.co/YJXg28UHCe

Asking for help is brave. I don’t want it to be. Until then, we’ll share our stories. https://t.co/B1hpfxb2la

A very brave decision by Fetterman. One that will save lives. And a landmark in the ongoing quest to reduce mental health stigma. Mental health is key to total health. A message we’ve been working to communicate for decades, especially to the military and vet communities. https://t.co/gb5l20BTDJ

What Fetterman is doing is brave and indeed makes him a good representative of his constituents. Our elected officials should have diverse, lived experiences that reflect the issues and support networks they should fight for. https://t.co/2uuxGionx5

BREAKING: Sen. John Fetterman checks himself into Walter Reed Medical Center to seek treatment for clinical depression that he has experienced throughout his life but which “has become severe in recent weeks.” If you think it’s brave for Fetterman to discuss mental health!

We need to consider physical illness as we do mental illness.
If Fetterman broke his leg and had to be hospitalized, no one would say a word.
Please do not make assumptions about her fitness to serve because she is brave enough to seek help for depression.

Isn’t it a little strange that all these people are using the same words to spin this situation?
