“Satanic Gender Confirmation Ritual” Held at State Capitol to Protest Bill

In the dark of events, the progressive left seems to have found an ally in Satanists. Members of the Satanic Temple gathered inside the Idaho State Capitol on Monday in response to a Republican-sponsored House bill aimed at banning gender reassignment procedures for minors.

Satanists protest child gender reassignment bill in Idaho

The Wikipedia page for the Temple of Satan—not to be confused with the Church of Satan—reads more like a socialist manifesto than a “religious” organization.

The Satanic Temple has publicly confronted hate groups, fought for the abolition of corporal punishment in public schools, called for equal representation when placing religious buildings on public property, provided religious exemptions and legal protections against laws that unscientifically limit women’s reproductive autonomy, exposing harmful . Pseudo-scientific practitioners in mental health care, organized clubs alongside other religious after-school clubs in schools blocked by proselytizing organizations, and engaged in other advocacy in accordance with our policy.

The same satanic temple that enjoys the tax-exempt status granted to them by the IRS as a religious nonprofit.

Members gathered at the Capitol described themselves as “bringers of light to the community.” They described their mission as “being an opponent of injustice”.

“Physical autonomy is sacrosanct,” declared one blue-haired member. A bell was then rung.

“We will fight our oppressors for this price, as it is a deeply held religious belief. Take a moment to observe and listen around you,” the Satanist continued, followed by another bell strike.

Satanists met counter-protesters with American flags and signs reading “Idaho is God’s Country” and “You are not wrong.” The latter refers to Genesis 1:31 from the Bible.

Genesis 1:31, ESV: God saw everything He had made, including you, and He was pleased. God doesn’t make mistakes, especially not when He made you.

Idaho passes bill to ban sex reassignment for minors

House Bill 71, sponsored by Representative Bruce Skagg, bans “puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sex reassignment surgery in the management of Idaho children struggling with gender dysphoria.” Skaugs said the law was necessary to “protect children” and prevent permanent damage he claims puberty blockers and hormone treatments can cause.

This bill criminalizes the above treatments for minors, insofar as the doctors are criminally charged.

Satanists’ efforts were futile as the bill overwhelmingly passed the Idaho House on Tuesday, or perhaps stiffened the vote. The vote followed party lines, except for one Republican who voted no.

The Republican holdout later said he felt the bill did not adequately guarantee that affected children and their families would have access to counseling.

The Idaho bill stands in stark contrast to the positions of organizations such as the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Psychiatric Association, which support gender-affirming care for youth. which many openly oppose Legislative efforts to limit what they describe as gender-affirming care.

That hasn’t stopped Republican lawmakers from banning gender reassignment treatment for minors in more than two dozen states. The Idaho bill is the latest to pass.

The Satanic Temple is working to destroy pro-life

Sexual reassignment of minors is not the only thing on the satanic temple’s agenda. The company recently launched an online abortion clinic in response to last year’s Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade.

With steps so low it’s only fit for a Satanic temple, the organization has opened “The Satanic Abortion Clinic of Samuel Alito’s Mother.” Alito, you might recall, is the justice who wrote the most controversial opinion.

If you’re willing to mock Christ, it’s not a stretch to mock a Supreme Court justice so viciously.

The Satanic Temple’s online clinic offers telehealth screenings and prescribes abortion drugs for patients willing to participate in their “religious abortion ritual.”

“Baphomet” symbolizes the Church of Satan. You’ll notice in this picture that the bronze sculpture of Baphomet commissioned by the Satanic Temple has children standing next to the half-man, half-goat being. Coincidence?
