Christian teacher fired for refusing to hide children’s “gender transition” and

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. – Being a Christian and siding with the radical left can get you fired as a teacher in California. A devout Christian teacher revealed in an interview with Fox News Digital this week that she was fired from parents for refusing to hide their children’s “gender transition,” which she said went against her Christian beliefs.

Jessica Tapia, who previously worked as a physical education teacher at Jurupa Valley High School, said it was school policy for teachers to conceal children’s “gender transition” and “preferred pronouns” from their parents. This leaves him with the choice of following the school’s immoral code or staying true to his beliefs.

I knew immediately, like in my gut, in my heart, in my soul, that I had to make a decision because, you know, these two things are completely at odds,” Tapia told Fox News Digital. “I basically had to make a choice. My own beliefs, Am I going to follow directions that are not aligned with faith and belief?

Or will I be true…, choose my faith, choose to obey… the way the Lord has told me to live. And so I was in that position where I realized that was crazy I could not be a Christian and a teacher.

Fox News reviewed a notice under digital superintendent Trenton Hansen’s letterhead that confirmed Tapia’s allegations. The district claimed they would not honor Tapia’s Christian faith, which prohibits him from lying to parents, and that they would terminate him.

“Consequently, the district will release you from employment effective January 31, 2023,” the notice said.

The district cannot accommodate your religious beliefs that … maintain a student’s gender identity and prohibit you from disclosing a student’s gender identity to him/her/their/their/their/their parents.”

The school is essentially imposing a student’s “privacy” on a matter that they have no idea about parental rights.

Tapia told Fox News Digital that the school has no right to block parents from “relevant information about Mars” to their children. “We’re talking about 12-, 13-, 14- and 15-year-old boys,” she said

The former teacher added that she also defied the district’s policy of refusing to allow “male genitalia” in female locker rooms.

“I don’t believe in my faith that God is calling us to love like this by acknowledging the truth of these lies and delusions,” Tapia said. “I firmly believe that God created man and woman, and you are who He made you to be. And when someone is confused about that, I believe it is a lie and a delusion from Satan.”

Tapia told the network he plans to sue the school district for religious discrimination and has hired an attorney at the Pacific Justice Institute.

“We are waiting for a letter from the right to sue [U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission]And then we’ll go from there.”
