China claims to have spotted an unidentified flying object near its border

China state-affiliated media outlets Global Times Authorities in China’s Shandong province reported on Sunday that they had spotted an unidentified flying object over the coastal city of Rizhao.

Chinese authorities are now preparing to shoot down the UFO and have sent a message to local fishermen to stay out of the water until the operation is complete.

China’s new report comes 24 hours after the US shot down a high-altitude object in Canada and 48 hours after the US shot down another object in Alaskan airspace.

Earlier, China claimed that the surveillance balloon that flew over Montana and was shot down in South Carolina was an “atmospheric research instrument”, but the US military denied these claims.

Many geopolitical analysts are confused about China’s new report.

Some are claiming that China’s report is a false flag for China to “pretend it’s happening to us too”.

Others believe that China shot down their own balloons to claim that they “shot down the US balloon” so as not to appear weak after the US shot down their balloon.
