With John Fetterman receiving treatment for depression, we must ask how much longer

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has officially checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for treatment of major depression.

In a statement issued by Fetterman’s chief of staff, Adam Gentelson, Fetterman has experienced depression “throughout his life” and the burdens that come with a senator’s life have not made it any easier.

Anyone with two brains who has seen ten minutes of Fetterman since running against Dr. Oz for Senate last year can tell the man is not physically or mentally fit to serve in public office, his health still somewhat taboo to discuss. His own people, however, have said his “special needs” have hindered regular Senate proceedings.

I don’t mean to attack or insult this guy, but anyone who is behaving like that Everything was fine Being really dishonest before today.

According to Gentleson, “On Monday, John was evaluated by Dr. Brian P. Monahan, attending physician to the United States Congress. Yesterday, Dr. Monahan recommended inpatient care at Walter Reed. John agreed, and he is voluntarily undergoing treatment.”

It’s worth noting that it wasn’t even a full week ago that Fetterman was hospitalized for a “mild headache” and not another stroke.

“After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs and will be back to himself soon,” Gentelson said.

ongoing problem

Throughout the 2022 midterm election cycle, it becomes increasingly difficult for the Democratic establishment and the media to hide the fact that John Fetterman is physically unfit to serve in the US Senate, despite Lt. The governorship he previously held after suffering a major stroke the same year.

While Democrats have labeled his opponent, Mehmet Öz, a “threat to democracy” and a “threat to public health,” they draw every Republican who threatens to defeat them in the general election as anything short of a direct comparison to Adolf Hitler, the same people who were this wounded. And parading the disabled person around as if those who present his challenges are the problem.

Fetterman’s own wife, Giselle Fetterman, even threatened an NBC reporter (far from being a right-wing provocateur), saying that there should be “consequences” for pointing out his inability to make “small talk” without captioning equipment.

It became more difficult for Fetterman’s team of enablers to cover up the obvious; They care so much about their ability to maintain power for the Democrats’ ultra-progressive agenda that they’re willing to parade around a person who doesn’t understand basic discourse, who should probably be taking care of it full time instead, to do it.

Not everything is fine

By the time Fetterman was hospitalized in early February, reports had begun to emerge revealing just how bad Fetterman’s condition really was.

The Political Insider reported that Fetterman is “struggling to adjust to life in the Senate as he adjusts to hearing problems” as a result of a stroke he suffered. These problems are so severe that it results in Fetterman “sounding like a teacher in a Peanuts cartoon.”

This is not a joke – as an acting US Senator, John Fetterman has the power to vote on taxes, health care, spending and whether our nation should engage in war.

A report in The New York Times detailed how far colleagues, staff and sergeants-at-arms went to help Fetterman with his day-to-day tasks. Some who spoke to The Times said it had been “extremely challenging”.

How far are people close to him willing to push him just to hold this seat? That’s the only question people should be asking.
