Former Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller denounced Nancy Pelosi as an ‘incoherent’ and ‘screaming’ mess during the January 6 riots, and belittled the crowd that overran the Capitol as “a raucous band of MAGA supporters taking selfies”.

Miller, who led the Pentagon from just days after the 2020 election through President Biden’s Inauguration Day, made the observations in his upcoming book, Army SecretarySet for release this week.

In it, Miller described lawmakers like Rep. Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and even Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) as “hyperventilating on the phone” about the state of the troops. To protect the capitol.

He claimed that Pelosi called him “incoherent” because he was “yelling” about what he described as a “handful of provocateurs” that had “infiltrated” the Capitol.

“I’ve never seen anyone — not even the greenest, pimple-faced 19-year-old Army private — panic like our country’s elder statesmen on Jan. 6 and the months that followed,” Miller quipped.

Miller made a “historic” demand for Nancy Pelosi to “bring the troops to the Capitol now” as the number of rioters grows.

He described it as ironic given that he and Democrats actively criticized President Trump for using the National Guard to try to quell racial riots earlier this summer. Ethnic riots resulting in countless deaths and billions in property damage.

Miller writes, “With that line **, Pelosi was miraculously reborn as a passionate, if less than altruistic, champion of law and order.”

Trump insists he called for National Guard troops to be ready before the riots, something fact-checkers have consistently said is not true.

House Republicans issued a report in December accusing Pelosi of “leaving the Capitol unprepared for riots due to Democratic leadership’s widespread concern about the ‘optics’ after the Summer 2020 ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests.”

He threatened to punch Trump in the face

Part of Pelosi’s “histrionics” and “screaming” was captured on video footage by Alexandra Pelosi, a documentary filmmaker and daughter of the former Democratic speaker, who was there on Jan. 6 to film.

“If he comes, I’ll punch him out,” he threatened Trump.

“I was waiting for this. For trespassing on Capitol grounds, I’m going to punch him out,” Pelosi said. “And I’m going to jail, and I’m going to be happy.”

Despite Pelosi’s tough-girl antics above, lawmakers were “scared like frightened children” for the world to see during the riots, Miller writes.

“Should I blame a bunch of geriatrics? Of course not. But do I judge them? You’re damned I’m right,” he said.

Miller described Pelosi’s response to the riots as “a state of complete nuclear disaster.”

The Political Insider reported last week that a top lawyer investigating the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol indicated that the FBI and other intelligence agencies could have prevented the riots from ever reaching a breaking point.

“What happened at the Capitol … was affected by the failure of law enforcement to act on sufficient intelligence that existed before January 6 about the threat of violence,” the lawyer told NBC News.

Christopher Miller noted to readers that the January 6th riots were “stupid and criminal and an utter disgrace” “far from anything like a ‘rebellion’ or … ‘attack on our democracy.’
