In Joe Biden’s America—the people living in the liberal utopia of Austin struggle for food

Austin, Texas has been hailed by the left as a liberal utopia “trapped” in a red state.

They favor gun control, pledging last summer to “explore every option” to raise the minimum age to purchase semi-automatic weapons.

They give condoms to elementary school kids for Easter.

They support a pilot ‘guaranteed income’ program paying $1,000 per month to those classified as experiencing ‘extreme hardship’.

They love wearing masks to school kids and lecturing farmers to stay indoors, even if they prefer to sneak off to Cabo for a little R&R.

They marched through the streets on May Day in praise of communist genocide.

Sounds like a liberal utopia.

But even utopias suffer in the Biden economy. Video shared by a local news outlet shows Austin residents fighting over food thrown into a dumpster at an HEB.

Fox 7 Austin reports:

People were seen fighting over food in a dumpster at an HEB store in South Austin at William Cannon and I-35 yesterday.

Witnesses said employees were seen throwing away meat and other perishable items after the power outage at the store.

Some posted on social media claiming the store had free food.

Travis County Precinct 4 Constable Jorge Morales said more than 250 people approached the HEB and fought over discarded groceries.

Deputies and Austin police showed up to ease traffic due to the post.

Groceries taken from dumpsters were posted on various “Free in Austin” Facebook pages.

If you, or someone you know, picks up these groceries, throw them away, Morales said. They are not safe to eat.
