Florida Freshman Democrat Claims Constitutional Carry Is ‘Fascism’ (VIDEO)

Florida is on track to become the 26th state to adopt ‘constitutional carry’ that would allow citizens to carry guns without a permit.

According to Rep. Maxwell Frost, a freshman Democrat in the state, it’s fascism. Got it? Exercising your constitutional rights is fascism. That’s what undercuts the Democrats.

Frost commented on Joy Reid’s MSNBC show, because of course he did.

Did you catch the crux of the Dem rep’s tantrum about constitutional carry?

Pour a drink and pull up a seat for this one because it’s incredibly goofy and priceless in entertainment value. I can’t even get mad at this outburst by Florida Democratic Congressman Maxwell Frost because the whole thing is just plain ignorant.

He’s only 26 years old, and I’m not trying to knock the young man down. He has more courage than most, abandoning his 20s and his privacy for a career in public life, making him susceptible to multiple political attacks. That comes with being a duly elected member of Congress, and he drew a huge target on his back in Florida’s constitutional carry push.

There are arguments against this gun policy. They are meaningless, but they exist. Frost fell into the trap that most of his generation fall into when something bothers them: they use words and phrases that are irrelevant or irrelevant to the debate. Frost said pushing Gov. Ron DeSantis to make his gun laws more in line with the Second Amendment is “fascism.”

No, Mr. Frost, fascist governments do not encourage the right of their citizens to own firearms, let alone carry them in public. If there are people carrying guns, it will be the many agents of the secret police and intelligence agencies who keep everyone in such a society under constant surveillance.

For people on the left, especially young people on the left, fascism has become synonymous with something they don’t like. They don’t even know what the word really means.
